PROCEDURE FOR BEING PLACED ON THE AGENDA
There is an opportunity for individuals to be placed on the agenda for a meeting. The downloadable form allows a person to apply to be put on the agenda for the next meeting. The form asks name, address, and reason for wanting to be put on the agenda. It has space to write an explanation. There is a time deadline of 2 weeks prior to the meeting for the request to be received by the Town Clerk. By doing this the board will be able to do some research in that 2 weeks to be better prepared to answer questions that the applicant may have. Applying does not automatically guarantee placement on the agenda. Applicants will be notified by the Town Clerk. Application must be sent via USPS land mail.
