THE REGULAR MONTHLY TOWN BOARD MEETING WILL BE HELD on Wednesday, June 10th beginning at 7 PM, at the Town Garage, 438 Creek Road.  AS ALWAYS, THE PUBLIC IS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. THE OPEN PUBLIC FORUM FOR ADDRESSING THE TOPICS ON THE EVENING'S AGENDA AND NEW TOPICS WILL FOLLOW ROLL CALL.  

A bridge on Johnnycake Road will be replaced beginning May 26th.  The bridge is the one to the east of Travis Road. 

On May 1st and 2nd the Town of Danube held a Trash Clean Up for the residents of the Town.  This was the most successful to date.  120 visits were made bringing materials for disposal.  The Town Board thanks the Public and the Highway Department for their participation in making the event successful.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) invite public participation in the selection of a remedial action plan for the Johnny Cake

Road Farm Site, located on Johnny Cake Road in the Town of Danube, Herkimer County. A small portion of the site is located in the Town of Stark. The site is listed as a Class 2 site on the New York State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Sites.

Here is a copy of the Adopted Budget for 2009.  It was adopted on November 5th.
